That's a wrap: College kids wear Tefillin for the first time July 17, 2009

tefillin2The summer semester is here and all of the new freshmen are invading campuses across the country. And while some are getting the “wild side” of college out of their systems, others are taking this time to find out more about who they really are, where they come from, and where they’re going.

Chabad International, the same organization that sends missionaries to the far corners of the earth so that every Jew has a place to go for Shabbat, also has a similar program specifically aimed at providing college students a “home-away-from-home” when they are out in the world on their own for the first time. College students studying in Orlando are fortunate enough to have their very own Rabbi (and family) to cater to their every spiritual need. And if that wasn’t enough…
